Centron has a track record of proven success, backed by over eight years of testing and millions of miles of road use.
What is Centron?
Centron fuel additive is a patented blend of compounds that work as a catalyst to improve fuel combustion. Comprised of petrochemical components, it won't harm your engine or void vehicle warranties, and is enviromentally safe and biodegradable. It's undergone extensive testing and real-world road use, and is EPA registered and California CARB approved.
How does Centron work?
Centron reduces the surface tension of fuel resulting in fuel evaporation at a lower temperature. When fuel combined with Centron is injected into the combustion chamber it forms micronized droplets. These droplets covert into vapor form at a lower evaporation temperature. The fuel vapor then comes in contact with oxygen more effectively during the combustion process. These combined features enable fuels with Centron additives to burn more efficiently and more completely, delivering increased fuel economy, more power and less pollution. In addition, Centron fuel additives emulsify various fuel components and provide additional lubrication benefits.
History of Centron
American Energy Group, Inc. was incorporated in 1998 for the purpose of supporting the commercial evaluation and development of Centron fuel additives. AEG teamed with Brenntag Corporation, a world-wide leader in chemical and petroleum products, to produce Centron. Centron then underwent extensive testing and trials in partnership with a number of major commercial fleets including United Parcel Service, Coach USA, University of Central Florida, and Mexico City Transit Authority. Many other companies and agencies operating major fleets have since conducted their own independant trials, including Sysco, Schneider Trucking, and dozens of municipalities and utility companies. Centron performance met or exceeded expectations in all trials.
The vision for Centron was first established years ago on the track with the racecars of NASCAR. Since then, rising fuel costs have made Centron more and more cost effective. With today's gas prices, the mileage gains seen with Centron result in significant savings for any commercial fleet.
