There are a number of ways in addition to Centron that you can use to reduce your fuel consumption.
Drive the posted speed limit. Driving at 75 mph uses approximately 15% more fuel than
driving at 60 mph.
Keep your tires properly inflated.
Use motor oils which contain friction-reducing additives.
Idle as little as possible.
Minimize air conditioner use.
Don't top off your tank. Fuel requires room to expand. If there's no room, excess
fuel is vented and wasted.
Fun though it may be, don't take off fast on a green light.
Drive smoothly. Shifting gears suddenly, braking, or sudden starts and stops all reduce
fuel economy.
Use a block heater in winter to warm the engine before starting.
Use cruise control.
