Frequently asked questions and answers about Centron.

What makes Centron different from other fuel additive?

Unlike other additive in the marketplace Centron works as a catalyst at the molecular level to break down the fuel molecule and create a more complete and efficient fuel burn.

Is Centron safe?

Centron is safe to use in all engine types and models. It does not void manufacturer warranties. It can be safely shipped, stored (it's non-perishable), and can be carried in your vehicle. Accidental spillage will not damage paint or finish, although it should be wiped clean to prevent a filmy residue from being left behind.

What effect on my mileage can I expect to see when using Centron?

There are many factors that go into your mileage (wind resistance, tire pressure, etc.) and thus results may vary. Based on company testing you can expect to see mileage increases of 10% or better.

What effect does Centron have on emissions?

Tests on infra-red exhaust analyzation equipment indicate a drop in the hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide emissions up to as much as 90 percent. This proves that Centron Diesel Fuel Saver improves combustion dramatically, thus keeping our air cleaner.

Can Centron be used with reformulated gas?

Yes. However you should not use the product with reformulated gasoline containing MTBE.

Is it harmful to apply too much Centron to your fuel?

No, it's not harmful. However the cleaning agents will clean your system very rapidly if overused, and it might be necessary to change your fuel filter more frequently. It's best (and more economical) to apply the recommended dosage.

How does Centron's water scavenger work?

The water scavenger in Centron Diesel Fuel Saver chemically emulsifies the water with the fuel in your fuel tank and fuel lines, allowing it to be removed through the normal combustion process.

Does Centron contain cleaning agents?

Yes. The cleaning agents in Centron remove dirt, rust, corrosion and carbon buildup from vital engine parts.

Does Centron reduce bacterial growth in fuel?

Yes. Centron works to emulsify the water and other contaminants in the fuel.
